Everyone loves a trip to the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek where you’ll find seals, otters, penguins and stunning view across the Helford estuary.
Pay a visit to the 13th Century Church of Storms at Gunwalloe Church Cove, followed by a family trip to the beach. Or check out Frenchmen’s Creek, the inlet that inspired Daphne Du Maurier’s novel, or Dollar Cove where episodes of the recent Poldark adaptation were filmed.

Rain starts play

Heritage buffs can make tracks to the Marconi Centre to learn about the birthplace of modern communication, or learn about the history of the Lizard lighthouse with interactive displays and historical artifacts chronicling the 250-year history of this beacon welcoming seafarers home.
Sky-high thrill rides and living history go hand-in-hand at Flambards near Helston. Tour a Victorian village with over 50 authentically recreated shops or visit a street scene from the Blitz. Thrill seekers can make a beeline for the twists, swoops and dizzy heights of rollercoasters, flumes and Cornwall’s biggest drop slide.
